Ah!  Thank you Nick for the discussion post indicated that the AutoCAD Civil 3d Object Enabler (OE)  is now live.   The Civil 3d Object Enabler comes in two flavors  – 32 bit and 64 bit!  Autodesk Storm and Sanitary is a 32 bit program – so drink the 32 bit version!  You need it.

I struggled with this problem earlier this year.  My Recent Documents list always remained as an Ordered List, and that allowed DST files to float to the top of the Recent Documents list.   It took some digging, but I am much happier now.
