  1. We've received several inquiries about when the EECasts (our weekly webcasts on various Civil 3D and related topics) will start up again.

I'm happy to announce we are in the process of setting a schedule and outlining topics. We have some great ideas, but NEED YOUR INPUT!

What topics would you like to see covered? What issues are you having that might make for a compelling EECast? Do YOU want to present a session?

Respond to this thread and let's get the conversation started. Let us know what you'd like to see!

    Thanks,
    Mark Scacco

  2. IDEA 1:
Modeling a forcemain with a cleaver assembly, alignment, profile, and corridor model.

Cover how to creat a pipe assembly and how you need two alignments - one representing the CL of the pipe so you can put small curves at the bends (just like an elbow would have) - and the other alignment for presentation and that you would show you forcemain on for the plan sheets.

    IDEA 2:
    PARTS BUILDER! enough said...

  3. Thanks for the ideas. Anyone else have any?:

  4. How about 2010's new survey functions. Auto linework without fieldbooks, etc.

  5. What is the word on the EECasts? If my memory serves me right there hasn't been one since October 2008.

  6. Tentative plans are to start EECasts the first week in October.
    Stay tuned...
